Over hot coffee, we will cover a beginner's over view of fly fishing and how it differs from traditional bait casting. We’ll cover equipment basics and common terms. From there, we will begin casting instruction covering the roll cast and the basic cast. Instruction will take place at the casting pond as we pick up the basics.

Videos will be made and reviewed with each student to point out areas of improvement.
Students will be provided with all equipment needed during the class.
The class will wrap up with a session on knot tying.
The day will end 3:00.
You will leave with a new found knowledge and copy of Thrasher's Fly Fishing Guide.
